I created this piece using styrofoam as a printmaking tool. I carved into the styrofoam with a wooden stick. Then I used a roller to paint the surface to create a print on paper. Once the print dried I added color with oil pastels and pencil. The left side is darker because the whole piece is made out of two overlapping prints on one piece of paper. The right print is lighter, due to the fact I used less ink on the styrofoam.

This is a new process I am experimenting with and thought it would be great to post my first test. To be continued...
