Created using oil crayons and bristle board. Throughout all of my oil crayon drawings I combine urban and suburban neighborhoods in an abstract yet representational form, focusing on color and shape. Each drawing is a reflection of my interpretation of imaginative whimsical neighborhoods, which is also later found in my water color drawings below. In all of my work I find myself focusing on vibrant colors and basic shapes transporting me back to my childhood drawings and experiences as a young artist.
